IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by sections 20 and 25 of the National
Insurance Act (Cap. 229) the Minister makes the following Regulations-

NATIONAL INSURANCE (CONTRIBUTION) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS 2007

 

Citation and commencement

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Insurance (Contribution) (Amendment) Regulations 2007.

 

(2) These Regulations shall come into force on the 1st day of January 2008.

 

Schedule amended Cap. 229 Booklet l

 

2. The Schedule to the National Insurance (Contribution) Regulations is amended -

 

(a) in Part I by deleting the figure "2 '/2" from the column
headed "Rates of contribution" and inserting the figure
"3 '/2"; and

 

(b) in Part II by deleting the figure "3.5" from the column
headed "Rates of contribution" and inserting the figure
"4 '/2 ".
