Life Certificates

The National Insurance Services wishes to inform its registered pensioners that it is now issuing the Life Certificate for the second half of the year. All pensioners are required to have their forms completed and returned to the NIS Office by December 31st, 2007. This is to avoid any delay in the prompt payment of your pension.

The forms can be obtained by clicking here or at the NIS Office, the Bequia Revenue Office and the district post offices.

 Please note that the form must be certified by any of the following persons:

 

  1. Lawyer
  2. Bank Official
  3. Police Officer (above the rank of Inspector)
  4. Justice of Peace
  5. Notary Public
  6. Minister of Religion
  7. Senior Civil Servant
  8. Doctor
  9. Member of Parliament

Persons who receive their payments at the NIS Office are kindly asked to visit the Office and bring along their national identification card.

 

Check Your Status

The National Insurance Services wishes to inform contributors (local and abroad), that they can contact the NIS office to check the status of their records and contributions.

Those persons who were members of the National Provident Fund (NPF) are also encouraged to check their information. Members wishing to change their beneficiary under the NPF can do so, once you have presented proper identification.
